MUHAMMAD WROTE GOD’S REVELATIONS WITH HIS OWN HAND

The first revelation was “Read,” and included the statement “God teaches by means of the pen” (96:1-4), and the second revelation was “The Pen” (68:1). The only function of the pen is to write.

96:1    Read in the name of your Lord who has created.
96:2    He created man from an embryo.
96:3    Read, and your Lord is the Generous One.
96:4    The One who taught by the pen.

68:1 N, the pen, and what they write.

Ignorant Muslim scholars of the first two centuries after the Quran could not understand the Quran’s challenge to produce anything like it.

The ignorant Muslim scholars then decided to proclaim Muhammad an illiterate man! They figured that this would make the Quran’s extraordinary literary excellence truly miraculous. The word they relied on to bestow illiteracy upon the Prophet was “UMMY.” Unfortunately for those “scholars,” this word clearly means “Gentile,” or one who does not follow any scripture (Torah, Injeel, or Quran) [see 2:78, 3:20 & 75, 62:2]; it does NOT mean “illiterate.”

The Prophet was a successful merchant. The “Muslim scholars” who fabricated the illiteracy lie forgot that there were no numbers during the Prophet’s time; the letters of the alphabet were used as numbers. As a merchant dealing with numbers every day, the Prophet had to know the alphabet, from one to one-thousand.

The Quran tells us that Muhammad wrote down the Quran – Muhammad’s contemporaries are quoted as saying, “These are tales from the past that he wrote down. They are being dictated to him day and night” (25:5). You cannot “dictate” to an illiterate person.

25:5    And they said: “Fictional tales of old! HE WROTE THEM DOWN (ik’tatabahā) while they were being dictated to him morning and evening.”

The Prophet’s enemies who accuse him of illiteracy abuse Verse 29:48, which relates specifically to previous scriptures.

29:48 You had not been reciting any book previously NOR DID YOU COPY IT DOWN WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND (biyamīnika).; otherwise quibblers would suspect it.

NOT RECITING ANY BOOK PREVIOUSLY means Prophet was Ummy (one who have not received the scriptures).

NOR DID YOU COPY IT DOWN WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND means that Muhammad didn’t copy any information from previous Books from Allah with his Right Hand.

If Prophet had been reciting any Book from Allah before the Quran and he had copy it down from any previous Book of Allah then In that case, the quibblers would suspect it and had a reason to blame him.

Muhammad the soul, the real person, not the body, was summoned to the highest universe and the Quran was given to him (2:97, 17:1, 44:3, 53:1-18, 97:1-5). Subsequently, the angel Gabriel helped Muhammad release a few verses of the Quran at a time, from the soul to Muhammad’s memory. The Prophet wrote down and memorized the verses just released into his mind.

When the Prophet died, he left the complete Quran written down with his own hand in the chronological order of revelation, along with specific instructions as to where to place every verse. The divine instructions recorded by the Prophet were designed to put the Quran together into the final format intended for God’s Final Testament to the world (75:17). The early Muslims did not get around to putting the Quran together until the time of Khalifa Rashed `Uthmaan. A committee was appointed to carry out this task.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD WROTE THE QURAN WITH RIGHT HAND

42:52  And thus, We inspired to you a revelation of Our command. YOU DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS THE BOOK, nor what was faith. Yet, We made this a light to guide whoever We wish from among Our servants. Surely, you guide to a straight path.

29:48 You had not been reciting any book previously NOR DID YOU COPY IT DOWN WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND (biyamīnika).; otherwise quibblers would suspect it.

69:43 A revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
69:44 And had he attributed anything falsely to Us.
69:45 We would have SEIZED HIM BY THE RIGHT HAND (bil-yamīni).
69:46 Then, We would have severed his life-line.
69:47 None of you would be able to prevent it.

25:5 And they said: “Fictional tales of old! HE WROTE THEM DOWN (ik’tatabahā) while they were being dictated to him morning and evening.”

PEN (QALAM) WAS USED IN WRITING THE QURAN

68:1 N, the pen, and what they write.
68:2 You are not, by the blessing of your Lord, crazy.
68:3 And you will have a reward that will not end.
68:4 And you are of a high moral character.

96:1 Read in the name of your Lord who has created.
96:2 He created man from an embryo.
96:3 Read, and your Lord is the Generous One.
96:4 The One who taught by the pen.
96:5 He taught man what he did not know.

QURAN WAS SENT DOWN TO THE HEART OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD

2:97 Say: “Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel, then know that he has sent it down into your heart with the permission of God, ..”

QURAN WAS SENT DOWN IN THE NIGHT

97:1 We have sent it down in the Night of Decree.

COLLECTION OF THE QURAN

75:16 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste.
75:17 It is for Us to gather and its reading.
75:18 So when We read it, you shall follow its revelation.
75:19 Then it is for Us to explain it.

ARRANGEMENT OF THE QURAN

73:1 O you who are covered with your garments.
73:2 Stand the night except for a little.
73:3 Half of it, or a little less than that.
73:4 Or a little more, and arrange the Quran in its arrangement.

25:32 And those who rejected said: “If only the Qur’an was sent down to him in one go!” It was done as such so We could strengthen your heart with it, and We arranged it accordingly.

I also believe that complete Quran was revealed on the heart of Prophet on the night of Majesty during Full moon of scorching heat but the verses were released on separate occasions.

2:185 Full moon of scorching heat, in which the Qur’an was revealed;

44:14 But then, they turned away from him and said: Clearly educated (muAAallamun), but crazy!

Mu’allamin (pis. pic. vb. II): Taught one/educated.
