HOW TO ENTER PARADISE ACCORDING TO HADITHS?

1. It has been reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said:

God laughs at the two men one of whom kills the other; both of them will enter Paradise. They (the Companions) said: How, Messenger of Allah? He said: One is slain (in the way of Allah) and enters Paradise. Then God forgives the other and guides him to Islam; then he fights in the way of Allah and dies a martyr.

2. Umm Salamah narrated that The Messenger of Allah said:

“Whichever woman dies while her husband is pleased with her, then she enters Paradise.” (Hasan)

3. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:

“The poor believers will enter Paradise half a day – five hundred years – before the rich.’”

4. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah said, “Everyone of my Ummah will enter Jannah except those who refuse”. He was asked: “Who will refuse?” He () said, “Whoever obeys me, shall enter Jannah, and whosoever disobeys me, refuses to (enter Jannah)”.

5. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said:

“There are no two Muslims, three of whose children die before reaching puberty, but Allah will admit them to Paradise by virtue of His mercy toward them. It will be said to them: ‘Enter Paradise.’ They will say: ‘Not until our parents enter.’ So it will be said: ‘Enter Paradise, you and your parents.”‘ (Sahih)

6. It was narrated from Talhah bin ‘Ubaidullah that two men from Bali came to the Messenger of Allah (). They had become Muslim together, but one of them used to strive harder than the other. The one who used to strive harder went out to fight and was martyred. The other one stayed for a year longer, then he passed away. Talhah said:

“I saw in a dream that I was at the gate of Paradise and I saw them (those two men). Someone came out of Paradise and admitted the one who had died last, then he came out and admitted the one who had been martyred. Then he came back to me and said: ‘Go back, for your time has not yet come.’” The next morning, Talhah told the people of that and they were amazed. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah () and they told him the story. He said: “Why are you so amazed at that?” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, the first one was the one who strove harder, then he was martyred, but the other one was admitted to Paradise before him. The Messenger of Allah () said: “Did he not stay behind for a year?” They said: “Yes.” He said: “And did not Ramadan come and he fasted, and he offered such and such prayers during that year?” They said: “Yes.” The Messenger of Allah () said: “The difference between them is greater than the difference between heaven and earth.”

7. Abu Umamah narrated the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)said:

“My Lord promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah shall be admitted into Paradise without a reckoning against them, Nor any punishment. With every thousand, are seventy thousand and three measures from the measures of my Lord.” (Hasan)

8. Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger () as saying:
In Paradise, there is a tree under the shadow of which a rider can travel for a hundred years.

9. Abu Burda reported Allah’s Messenger () as saying:

There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians.

10. Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger () as say- ing:

The Hell and the Paradise fell into dispute and the Hell said: I have been dis- tinguished by the proud and the haughty. And the Paradise said: What is the matter with me that the meek and the humble amongst people and the downtrodden and the simple enter me? Thereupon Allah said to the Paradise: You are (the means) of My Mercy whereby I show mercy to those of My servants whom 1 wish, and He said to the Hell: You are (the means) of punishment whereby 1 punish those of My servants whom l wish. Both of you will be full. The Hell will riot be filled up until Allah puts down His foot in it. The Hell would say: Enough, enough, enough, and at that time it will be filled up, all its parts integrated together.

11. Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “Allah wonders at those people who will enter Paradise in chains.”

12. Narrated Mu’adh bin Jabal :

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone’s last words are “There is no god but Allah” he will enter Paradise.

13. It was narrated from Abu Darda’ that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“No one who is addicted to wine will enter Paradise.”

14. Mu’adh bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:

“The people of Paradise shall enter Paradise without body hair, Murd, with Kuhl on their eyes, thirty years of age or thirty-three years.”(Sahih)

15. Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:

The Prophet said, “Seventy-thousand or seven-hundred thousand of my followers (the narrator is in doubt as to the correct number) will enter Paradise holding each other till the first and the last of them enter Paradise at the same time, and their faces will have a glitter like that of the moon at night when it is full.”

16. Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

” Some of the people of Tawhid will be punished in the Fire until they are coals. Then the Mercy (of Allah) will reach them, they will be taken out and tossed at the doors of Paradise.” He said: ” The people of Paradise will pour water over them, and they will sprout as the debris carried by the flood sprouts, then they will enter Paradise.” (Sahih)

  1. Narrated Abu Dharr:

I came to the Prophet () while he was wearing white clothes and sleeping. Then I went back to him again after he had got up from his sleep. He said, “Nobody says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’ and then later on he dies while believing in that, except that he will enter Paradise.” I said, “Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft?” He said. ‘Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft.” I said, “Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft?” He said. ‘Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft.” I said, ‘Even it he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft?’ He said, “Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft, inspite of the Abu Dharr’s dislike. Abu `Abdullah said, “This is at the time of death or before it if one repents and regrets and says “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He will be forgiven his sins.”
